The Georgia Center for Assessment (GCA), headquartered in Athens, GA, offers a comprehensive suite of educational instruction and assessment solutions for schools, school districts, and states. As part of the College of Education at the University of Georgia, we function as a bridge between the research community at UGA and all learners (students, parents, and educators). GCA provides products and services that range from test design, test development, calibration and psychometric services through print production, distribution, scanning, scoring, reporting and design to professional development  and data analysis services for educational entities in the K-12 market.

The vision of the Georgia Center for Assessment is to serve as an agent of change by leading and engaging students, teachers, schools, and districts in the state of Georgia and across the nation to explore and utilize innovative approaches to assessment, instruction, and data analysis that impact student learning and achievement as well as professional growth for educators.

The mission of the Georgia Center for Assessment is to lead educators in the creation, use, and analysis of both formative and summative assessments serving our various stakeholders to inform decision-making, guide instructional practice, and improve student learning and achievement.
