Scoring Opportunities

The Georgia Center for Assessment (GCA) hosts a number of scoring projects throughout the year, from our own formative Assesslets to statewide high-stakes assessments. We are currently looking for conscientious and qualified individuals to participate in scoring high-stakes assessments in multiple content areas for this spring.

  • Applicants must have a four year degree
  • Applicants must not be current public school employees in Georgia
  • Applicants must train and qualify for each item or assessment
  • High-stakes scoring will take place in-house at our UGA Gwinnett location

Item Writer and Reviewer Opportunities

The Georgia Center for Assessment (GCA) is seeking subject matter experts to write and review educational assessment items. Experience in K-12 education and/or experience in the subject areas of English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, or Social Studies is preferred. Additional training on the item writing process will be provided. Item writing is project-based and work can be completed remotely. Professional Learning Opportunities

The Georgia Center for Assessment (GCA), part of the College of Education at the University of Georgia, seeks experienced facilitators to join its Professional Learning team.
