This spring, the Georgia Center for Assessment would like to invite you to join us for our latest FREE webinar series presented by our Professional Learning team. This latest series will explore co-constructed writing in the classroom.
Co-construction is a method of writing instruction in which teacher and students collaborate on a response to a given prompt. The teacher serves mainly as a facilitator, prompting students and asking for clarification, as necessary. In other words, the students bear most of the responsibility in generating the ideas. Co-construction gives students insights into the process of crafting successful written responses.
Join us on Monday, March 12 from 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm as GCA’s Kevin Raczynski along classroom teachers provide an example of co-construction related to a text-dependent question associated with non-fiction. The live webinar will take place using the free Zoom video webinar platform and the recording will be made available as well. Use the link below to register today!
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
Please invite colleagues to attend as well! The webinar is free and open to all educators.
