We are proud to announce that Holly Garner has joined the Georgia Center for Assessment (GCA). Before coming to GCA, Holly’s previous role was with a college and career readiness non-profit organization based in Iowa City, IA.
Holly studied Finance at the University of Northern Iowa (UNI), obtained her Master’s Degree in Postsecondary Education at UNI and her MBA at the University of Iowa. Throughout her professional career, her interest has been on supporting students both inside and outside of the classroom, which means supporting the critical role of teachers in fostering the love of learning. At GCA, Holly is responsible for supporting external customer contracts as well as marketing, sales, and business development.
Some fun facts about Holly:
In her free time, Holly loves swimming, running, and biking, (in that order) and has competed in several marathons, triathlons, and road races. Currently registered for the Wisconsin 70.3 Ironman, if you see her running or biking along Old Jimmy Daniel Road, give her a wave. If she doesn’t wave back, it’s because she’s listening to very loud music on her headphones. Music that includes some of her favorites like: Matchbox 20, Counting Crows, and Chris Stapleton
